Choosing the Right Car Insurance For New Drivers

Choosing the Right Car Insurance For New Drivers

Car insurance for new drivers is something that you cannot do with your one eye closed. It's equally important just like any other insurance for anybody. A teenage driver will be normally listed on his parents' auto insurance policy. Since policies vary from insurer to insurer, it's imperative to do a comparison to make sure you are dealing with the company that offers better value for your money.

When doing your shopping, naturally, the very first thing you would look into is the price. You want something that will fit your budget but you have to make sure that it is competitive enough with the rest of the industry. Also, don't commit the mistake of deciding too quickly on the cheapest one you run into. Affordability cannot be equated to reliability.

You want car insurance for new drivers that will offer comprehensive coverage. I'm sure you don't want to have a policy that will not provide you with the coverage you need. That's a complete waste of your money.

What about your deductible? This is one detail you can't afford to miss. Keep in mind that the higher your deductible is, the less money you will pay. However, this will mean that you have to be out with more money from your own pocket should there be a need to make a claim. Don't forget to confirm the minimum amount of coverage dictated by your state.

When looking at car insurance for new drivers, you can obtain a quote from different insurers so you can do the comparison. You can do it online or ask a professional to do it for you. I would suggest doing your search over the internet, it's very easy and you can have the results in seconds. All you have to do is fill out the online questionnaire form and submit your information.

Car Insurance for Taxi Drivers

Car Insurance for Taxi Drivers

If your car is part of a taxi services company, then you do not need to worry too much about your car's insurance since the company has this thing covered. However, if you are an independent taxi driver then this problem concerns you directly. Besides the safety measures that your car needs to meet for both you and you clients, you also need to ensure that you are covered no matter what happens in the chaotic traffic nowadays.

One of the first things that you need to get is references from other taxi drivers or companies you worked with. Whether you used to work for a taxi service company and then decided to go on your own or you never drove a taxi in your life but you have accumulated driving experience from your former jobs, it is important to get some praises from them. In addition, you can find out about the best type of quotes out there while talking to the people that are already in the business.

The next step you should take would be to do some research on the companies that were suggested to you or that you found over the Internet or in the yellow pages with affordable insurance policies. Settle on a few companies and start doing comparisons between the advantages and discounts that you can get from those insurance companies. You can either do that by sending them an e-mail, giving them a phone call or visiting them in person if the company is nearby.

Once you decided on the policy that will cover all your needs as a taxi driver, start discussing the clauses of the contract with the insurer. No matter if you are young, a senior, a new driver or an experienced driver, the insurance companies will always try to offer you all sort of coverage that will only raise your insurance policy costs. Therefore, be careful when you read what clauses they have, their claim politics, the coverage and the taxes that you will need to pay before you are signing the contract and sealing the deal.

Finding the right taxi insurance that can meet your demands is simply a matter of doing a little research. The more companies you check out, the higher the chances that you will find a quote that is both cheap and that can suit your needs.

What is the Average Price of Auto Insurance

What is the Average Price of Auto Insurance

How much do the majority of people shell out for auto insurance? That is really a tough question. It is based for the most part on where you reside, instead of on the type of auto you own, as many believe.

If you live in a rural area you will most certainly have lower premiums than someone in the city. There will be a greater chance of an accident if there is more traffic on the road.

Insurers determine the cost of premiums by considering a variety of pertinent factors that include the driver's age;however, the major concern is assessment of the risk that they will have to pay a claim.

The National Association of Insurance Commissioners put together a report stating the typical cost of auto insurance dropped by 1 overall.Seven percent in 2006. They made a list of the 10 most and least expensive states to reside in when considering auto insurance costs. There is a significant difference between the highest and the lowest.

The average expenditure per capita in Washington DC is about a thousand dollars a year. The average in North Dakota is $530, which is less than 50%. If you want to relocate for a lower insurance rate, you may want to consider moving to Iowa, South Dakota, Idaho, Kansas, Nebraska, Wisconsin or North Carolina. You can obtain a comprehensive car insurance policy at an average annual rate of less than $600 a year in all of these states.

However, interestingly enough, the median price for homeowners in North Carolina is more elevated since their coastal region suffers a lot of hurricane damage. There are many factors to think about when you are picking a new place to live.

Among the states that have the most elevated rates are Nevada, Delaware, Florida, New York and New Jersey. Each year, the expenditures in the indicated states top $1000. Different cities also have different rates. The state average rate is driven up by cities with higher rates

Just two years ago, people residing in Detroit could expect to pay over five thousand dollars a year for auto insurance. However, the median amount statewide was under $1000. Michigan is big in size, possessing a lot of rural regions. If you live out in the countryside your premiums will be lower than in a populated area such as Detroit.

New York DW Ignition Interlock Devices Law Unconstitutional

New York DW Ignition Interlock Devices Law Unconstitutional

New York State introduced Leandra's Law in 2009, and started applying it in August of 2010. The new law mandated all first time DWI offenders have ignition interlocks installed and monitored for six months on all cars they own and/or operate. Is this new law constitutional?

New case out of City Court of Watertown, NY recently made big waves in the legal community by reasoning that sections of the new law are unfair, unreasonable, and further unconstitutional.

People v. Waters, declares sections of New Leandra's Law Unconstitutional. Apparently the way the New York State Courts have been applying the Ignition Interlock Device has been Unconstitutional since August 2010... the Court stated that New York rolled out the devices on first time offenders too fast and thus haphazardly infringed their rights under due process, equal protection, and overall fairness.

1. Unfair to force installation on every vehicle they own and/or operate.

I have been arguing this point since I heard the new law. What if someone owned multiple cars for family members (like me)? What if someone owned a fleet of work cars? Why should co-workers, and family members be forced to use these devices and have them monitored? What about the cost of $75 to $100 per month per car plus having the devices checked every 30 days.

Everyone is forced to suffer with the IIDs- makes no sense.

2. Unfair to have no standards and/or guidelines for Judges to find indigency to install and maintain the devices.

Another subjective point I have argued all too often, one court argued they needed to be on welfare or SSI to qualify another Court Judge said they would decide based upon asking whether they owned a cell phone and had a car payment. There was and is no set scale, standard, and/or published numbers based upon family members, assets, liabilities, wages, etc.?

3. No set cost (fines) on devices filed with the Court. It is in view an open ended punishment.

These companies (the private IID firms) have an open ticket in our pockets, as I say "carte blanche," the white card of prestige and utter power to do as they will and charge us without end.

So what now in February 2011? We still have them (the IIDs) but we definitely need further input and guidance in their use and application. Additional concerns are to out of state motorists with NYS DWIs. NYS is forcing these out of state motorists to install IIDs in their home states, maintain and monitor there, and send back the data via satellite. Aside from the logistical and the interstate issues of such a policy, what if they fail (blow an alcohol reading of over.02 BAC)? Do they have to travel back to NYS and face arrest for a crime committed in their states? Apparently the reach of NYS extends from sea to shining sea now!

Tips on Getting Cheaper Car Insurance

Tips on Getting Cheaper Car Insurance

Car insurance is a necessity that no one who owns a car can escape. In the last few years, insurance cost has been steadily rising, so much so that it has started to hurt financially. This is why more and more people are looking for ways to reduce insurance cost. Though cheap insurance is always welcome, one has to be careful to se the kind of coverage he is getting as many times, cheap insurance might not be worth getting as you may not get compensation when needed in times of emergency.

It is actually when you have had an accident and need to make a claim that the real value of an insurance policy is known. This is why you cannot just accept the proposal of any insurance company as it is offering a policy with reduced premiums. One thing is for certain and that is cut throat competition among car insurance companies. This is what you can take advantage of when buying car insurance. There are legitimate ways to get the cost of premiums reduced and here is a look into these ways.

Deductibles can help in reducing your premium amount considerably. If you think you are a good driver and are prepared to take risks as you feel you can manage small dents yourself, you can save money by increasing deductibles. Not making a claim for small damages to the vehicle greatly reduces the car insurance premium.

Having a look at the type of car you drive can also help in reducing the premium amount. Insurance is often dependent upon the engine capacity of the car and if you have a small family and own a large SUV, you may unnecessarily be paying a large insurance amount. Instead switch to a smaller car and save on your money.

You may not be aware of it, but car insurance amount is often connected with your profile. How? Those who are safe drivers and have not faced accidents in near past are required to pay lesser insurance amounts than those who are prone to accidents. There are insurance companies who provide big discounts to those who are safe drivers.

Those who have anti theft and other safety devices installed in their vehicles are considered to be more responsible for the safety of their car and are rewarded by insurance companies in the form of lower car insurance premiums. So if you are ready to get lowered insurance premiums, you need to get fitted safety devices.

When the time comes to get renewal of your policy, don't just write the check without having a look at the policy terms. There are features that you can take advantage of such as taking of coverage that you do not require.

If you own two or more cars and have got them insured by different insurance companies, getting them clubbed by a single company might fetch you a discount in premiums.

Get in touch with an insurance broker who can get you additional discount on car insurance premiums.

New York Car Accident Law

New York Car Accident Law

In New York, a person must prove two main issues in any car accident claim. Most attorneys and insurance adjusters call these two issues "liability" and "damages." Liability, or who was at fault; and the damages or amount of the loss; are the two most important factors in evaluating a potential auto case. The injured person must show that another party was negligent in the operation of their motor vehicle. Negligence is generally defined as a "failure to use reasonable care". In New York you must show that the damages you have sustained are great enough to meet the statutory requirements outlined below.

New York Threshold for Damages

The New York legislature enacted a No Fault statute in an attempt to control the amount of automobile crash lawsuits. According to that statute, you may only sue another driver for negligence for personal injuries suffered in a car accident when your expenses are in excess of $50,000 or when you have sustained "serious injury". The New York state legislature defines "serious injury" as a personal injury that results in any one of the following:

1. Death; 2. Dismemberment; 3. Significant disfigurement; 4. A fracture, Broken Bone; 5. Loss of a fetus, unborn child 6. Permanent loss of use of a body organ, member, function or system; 7. Permanent consequential limitation of use of a body organ or member; 8. Significant limitation of use of a body function or system; 9. Or a medically determined injury or impairment of a non-permanent nature which prevents the injured person from performing substantially all of the material acts which constitute such person's usual and customary daily activities for not less than ninety days during the one hundred eighty days immediately following the occurrence of the injury or impairment.

As you can see from the terminology used in the statute while items one (1) through (5) are easily defined, items six (6) through (9) are very ambiguous. Typically, much litigation in New York Automobile liability cases revolves around what are referred to as "threshold" cases. In other words, attorneys and insurance companies will evaluate your case depending upon whether you have met the "threshold" requirement of a "serious injury" as defined by the New York statute.

Have I sustained a "serious injury" under NY Law or not?

The answer to this and other questions are even more complicated than they seem. Because the legislature has left all these terms in such an ambiguous state, the Courts have attempted to define all these terms through what is referred to as "case law" or judicial rulings. In other words, your attorney might be able to find a case that shows that because you missed work for more than eighty days, you have sustained a "serious injury"; or a case that shows that when you fractured or dislocated your shoulder and were diagnosed with a permanent loss in its range of motion, that your injury meets the "threshold".

Much of the analysis focuses around your medical diagnosis. An attorney will typically request an affidavit from a doctor or present your medical records in order to prove that you have sustained a "serious injury". Your case, however, will require a complicated legal argument. In these types of cases, you should always defer to an attorney in order to determine whether your claim is worth pursuing.

"Basic Economic Loss" Under New York Law

You cannot sue another driver for personal injuries suffered as the result of a car accident for what is referred to as "basic economic loss". The New York legislature defines the term "basic economic loss" as damages sustained in an amount less than $50,000 per person, per accident.

The following expenses may be used in determining whether you have sustained "basic economic loss" or expenses in an amount less than $50,000:

1. All necessary expenses incurred for: (i) medical, hospital, surgical, nursing, dental, ambulance, x-ray, prescription drug and prosthetic services; (ii) psychiatric, physical and occupational therapy and rehabilitation; (iii) any non-medical remedial care and treatment rendered in accordance with a religious method of healing recognized by the laws of this state; and (iv) any other professional health services; all without limitation as to time, provided that within one year after the date of the accident causing the injury it is ascertainable that further expenses may be incurred as a result of the injury.

2. Loss of earnings from work which the person would have performed had he not been injured, and reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by such person in obtaining services in lieu of those that he would have performed for income, up to two thousand dollars per month for not more than three years from the date of the accident causing the injury.

3. An employee who is entitled to receive monetary payments, pursuant to statute or contract with the employer, or who receives voluntary monetary benefits paid for by the employer, by reason of the employee`s inability to work because of personal injury arising out of the use or operation of a motor vehicle, is not entitled to receive first party benefits for "loss of earnings from work" to the extent that such monetary payments or benefits from the employer do not result in the employee suffering a reduction in income or a reduction in the employee`s level of future benefits arising from a subsequent illness or injury.

4. All other reasonable and necessary expenses incurred, up to twenty-five dollars per day for not more than one year from the date of the accident causing the injury.

So, you may still have a case if you can show that the expenses as defined above exceed the amount of $50,000.

NY Law: Summary

In summary, following an accident, you may review one of the clearly defined subsections above to determine if you have sustained a "serious injury". If you or your family member has not suffered one of the clearly defined injuries (ie. death; dismemberment; significant disfigurement; a fracture; or loss of a fetus), an attorney experienced in this field of law will be able to determine whether your injuries fall within one of the other categories of "serious injury" above. If you have not sustained a "serious injury' in any of these categories, you may still have a case if you can show expenses or the potential for expenses to exceed $50,000.

Finally, you should be advised that you may not be entitled to pursue any action if you are subject to any of the following:

1. Intentionally causing your own injury;

2. Operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition or while your ability to operate such vehicle is impaired by the use of a drug within the meaning of section eleven hundred ninety-two of the vehicle and traffic law;

3. Are injured while: (i) committing an act which would constitute a felony, or seeking to avoid lawful apprehension or arrest by a law enforcement officer, or (ii) operating a motor vehicle in a race or speed test, or (iii) operating or occupying a motor vehicle known to him to be stolen, or (iv) operating or occupying any motor vehicle owned by such injured person with respect to which the coverage required by subsection (a) hereof is not in effect, or (v) a pedestrian, through being struck by any motor vehicle owned by such injured pedestrian with respect to which the coverage required by subsection (a) hereof is not in effect, or (vi) repairing, servicing or otherwise maintaining a motor vehicle if such conduct is within the course of a business of repairing, servicing or otherwise maintaining a motor vehicle and the injury occurs on the business premises.

The state of New York is very strict about enforcing these laws. As such, you may not have a case if any of the above circumstances apply to you.

New York Car Insurance Lower Your Quotes By Following Some Tips

New York Car Insurance - Lower Your Quotes By Following Some Tips

If you stay in the great city of New York and are searching for New York car insurance, you may be surprised by the high rates quoted for the premium of your car. Living in New York is a quite costly affair in itself, above this if you have to pay outrageously high insurance premium for your vehicle, then things become real difficult. You should not lose heart, there are certain ways through which you can get cheap insurance even if you stay in New York, and you simply have to follow certain guidelines.

Reasons For High Premium

Let us first understand, why is the auto insurance so costly in New York? The rates quoted as premium by the insurers depend on several factors, which include the safety of the area in which the vehicle is driven and parked, most of the time. As all of us know, New York is considered to be at a high risk for theft, burglary, vandalism as far as vehicles are concerned. This increases the risk in insuring the vehicle, thus pushing up the premiums.

In a city like New York, most of the cars are parked on the streets at night, which make them vulnerable to theft and damages. The quotes go up because of this primary security risk.

Tips On How To Get Cheap Cover For Cars

You can get cheap car insurance in New York if you make your car safer. Safety devices such as alarm systems that make sounds if someone tries to break in, helps a lot. You may install a steering wheel lock, which ensures your car does not turn, even if the thief has managed to start the engine. You can have tough glasses installed on the window to prevent break-ins. All these safety measures will get best quotes, which will be light on your pocket and fit in your budget.

For car insurance in the UK, quotes might not be that high. However, the ground rule for getting cheap quotes for cars whether in UK or in New York, is to compare different quotes provided by the different auto insurers and settle for the best. The kind of vehicle insurance you opt for also plays a major role in deciding the premium. For comprehensive insurance, which has a wide coverage, the rates are high. For third party coverage, which covers just the basics, the rates are lower. You must analyze your risk factors and budget before opting for a certain policy.

New York car insurance comes at a higher cost, which may be lowered by carefully planning for the car's security, safety and maintenance. This will not only ensure reasonable premium for your car, but also provide you with the peace of mind that your car is safe.

Finding The Best Car Insurance Provider

Finding The Best Car Insurance Provider

Having the car insured can prevent numerous unforeseen issues for people. If it gets damaged in an accident, one may have to cough out thousands of dollars for repair. Even if the damage is minor, it can still cause annoyance for its owner. The rising cases of crime including vehicle theft and drunk driving do not help the case of owners either.

Thankfully, finding a service provider of insurance cover is not difficult anymore. Before getting quotes from service providers, it is a good idea to ponder over few points. One may start the search by listing out the requirements. Afterwords, provide the company with requisite information so that it can provide relevant quotes.

An important factor to consider while searching for quotes is the liability coverage. Liability cover pays for the damage caused by the vehicle of insurer, whether knowingly or unknowingly. There is a minimum coverage amount as per NY state laws, which is subject to change at regular intervals. Thus, this is a good idea to check with local authorities to have an account of the required cover.

This is important to note that liability coverage is pretty affordable to obtain. But, it does not cover most of the expenses related with accidents. This feature makes it necessary to seek a comprehensive cover which can cover all accident related costs.

Getting your own vehicle repaired can be a costly affair as well. Thanks to ever rising prices, nothing comes cheap these days. Cost of car parts and the service charges may run well into thousands of dollars. Collision cover happens to take care of all such expenses. Hence, it is pretty important to seek this cover as well.

If the costs of treatment of injured individuals are taken into account, the picture becomes quite gloomy. Staying at a hospital, purchasing medicines, visiting doctor regularly - all these events can result in significant expenses. It is thus, in interest of everybody to have a comprehensive insurance to cover all above costs.

An individual should be able to present him or her as a sensible driver to have lower premium. To make this happen, it is important to drive within ambit of law. Speeding, drunk driving and reckless driving has to be avoided at all costs. Safe drivers pose a little risk for the company which would be happy to set a low premium.

One should try to strike a balance between collision cover and deductible to have least possible premium. While looking for providers of cheap auto insurance in NY, it is important to search around a bit. Collecting a number of quotes can give a fair amount of flexibility for making a choice between available options.

When Car Insurance Goes Out of Reach

When Car Insurance Goes Out of Reach

Auto insurance has become very expensive over the years for the average family in America. People with individual auto insurance find it better to go for economic plans like a joint policy where they can include all the family members into a joint benefit scheme. A group auto policy is most beneficial for the whole family since it covers requirements of all the members.

People with good driving records usually have little difficulty in renewing or securing new and cheap auto insurance. The reasons are that they do not incur liabilities of claim as those who have poor records. According to experts, this discrimination is practiced by insurers due to higher costs of settling car claims.

The main reason for rising auto insurance lies in the rising costs of medical claims wherein the percentage of jury awards to auto liability claims has also risen 4/5 times. Cases of such liability are inflating car insurance rates causing economic pressures on millions of US car owners to opt for alternate economic insurance policies.

Forethought and timely research perks up your knowledge to select an auto insurance policy that is economic. According to experts of personal finance claims, there is still hope and all has not yet been lost, for you can make your policy economical even if it is not so at present.

By getting quotes online through common and convenient presence of online facilities with the insurance providers, you can research, compare and then decide to buy a suitable and economic policy. Use the convenience of services provided for customers through the insurer's web sites and centers catering services round the clock. Change your policy if you are finding it too expensive to maintain your current policy. You can cut costs on your costly car insurance and opt for an cheaper one this way.

Compare your earlier policy with the new insurance before deciding to go for the buy. Discuss the comparisons with your provider as this will enable them to assess what policy is suited best for your requirements. Claims Settlement Record of Private Insurance Companies

Claims Settlement Record of Private Insurance Companies

As we know, there are 20 odd private life insurance companies in India, and there is LIC which is a public sector company. LIC is the 800 pound gorilla, managing to hold on to about 75% market share even 10 years after private companies have been allowed into the life insurance space. The private life companies position themselves on being more customer friendly, wider array of products etc while LIC holds on to its positioning of trust, experience and government backing. One of the key parameters on which to judge a life insurance company is their claims payment record. At the same time, we must note that given that life has become more of a savings and investment product, the returns that they provide are perhaps more important than claims payout ratios. Nevertheless, claims record is definitely not a variable to be ignored. A table illustrating the claims rejection percentages of the top life insurance companies in 2009-10 is presented below:

Life Companies: Claims rejection ratio (%)

LIC: 1.21%

Aviva: 9.75%

Bajaj Allianz: 5.2%

Birla SunLife: 10.62%

HDFC Life: 4.67%

ICICI Prudential: 3.27%

ING Vysya: 4.26%

Kotak Mahindra:4.29%

Max New York Life:12.31%

MetLife: 5.94%

Reliance Life:7.05%

SBI Life:14.75%

Tata AIG: 12.3%

An important observation from the above table is that the claims rejection ratio of LIC is the lowest, thus implying that their record is the best as far as claims payment is concerned. At the same time, the very high percentage of claims rejection of SBI Life and Max New York Life surely comes in as a surprise.

It must however be noted once again that in Unit Linked products that life organisations promote aggressively (or at least was promoting till Sep 2010), the returns earned on the fund is perhaps a more important variable than the claims payment (or rejection) ratio. However, for non life companies, which offer pure protection/insurance products with no savings or investment component, claims payment is the crucial variable along with the speed of processing of claims.

Let us now look at the incurred claims ratios of the non-life companies:

Non-Life Insurance Company: Incurred claims ratio

New India Assurance: 89%

Oriental Insurance: 99.69%

United India Insurance: 78.62%

National Insurance: 99.16%

Royal Sundaram: 68.95%

Reliance General Insurance:77.3%

Iffco Tokio Insurance:83.44%

Tata AIG: 60.54%

ICICI Lombard: 85.35%

Bajaj Allianz:71.9%

HDFC Ergo: 80.73%

Bharti Axa:104%%

One data point that stands out from above is that Tata AIG General Insurance seems to be sourcing the best quality business from the underwriting point of view, whereas the claims payment ratio of Bharti Axa seems to be quite high. Alo,the claims payment ratio of the public insurers, at an overall level, is higher than that of the private non life insurers.

How Much does it Cost to Ship a Car

How Much does it Cost to Ship a Car

Consider this - You are thinking of presenting a car to your parents or your partner? But there is a teeny weeny problem. You are not in the same town as they are so, you are obviously thinking of shipping the car, right? However the hitch apparently is that you are not aware of the intricacies of shipping a car. Just then you have a friend visiting you who has done it. Wouldn't you be relieved? Almost the same thing happened with one of my uncles. Hence, I am writing this for those who want to enlighten themselves with the knowledge of how much does it cost to ship car!

Cost to Ship a Car

Factors and Considerations

There are many aspects which impact the shipping costs of a car. The type, model, weight and size are the direct factors affecting the cost of shipping. Not to forget the cost of shipping insurance, which needs to be purchased in any case, before shipping the car. The shipping car insurance roughly comes up to 1.5 percent to 2.5 percent of the estimated value of the vehicle. Apart from that, the distance to the place where you need it shipped and whether it is a domestic or international shipment, greatly impacts the money you would be ultimately shelling out. Adding to that, there could be some companies who may vary their charges depending on the season as weather conditions may be suitable or not so compatible with the shipping process. Hence, that aspect too, has to be considered. Non operational vehicles are charged too, in fact extra for loading and transfer.

Actual Cost

To start off, if you want to ship a car to Europe from USA, the charges start at around $750. This is for a usual sedan or perhaps a convertible. In case it is a full sized sports utility vehicle (SUV), the minimum cost will be around $2,000. Whereas if you have to ship the car to Australia, cost to ship a car would be nothing less than $3,000. Car is generally shipped in an ocean container and most probably, there would be extra space in the container. So, if you want to utilize that space and want to ship something else along with it, like household items, it adds to the price. Let's take the example of shipping car to Australia from USA in the container with the other items, it might cost around $3,300. This is, for a 20 foot container when you are looking at cost to ship car across country. If you are looking for bigger options than this, then you can get a container double the size (40 foot), for almost double the price, that is, around $ 4,600. You would be astonished to know that a 40 feet container will be able to hold 47,500 pounds. With regards to domestic, within US shipment, the starting cost is almost the same, when it is standard sized sedan. If it is a small van or a pick up or a SUV, the cost to ship a car is roughly between $900 to $1,400 from let's say New York to California. New York to Florida would be lesser, between $650 to $1,000 (for an SUV or a pick up).

Tips and Benefits When you approach a shipping company, get everything in writing, from the most important detail to even the most minor one. It is advisable not to sign any shipping related papers unless you have read the papers and have gone through each and every word. This is important for the car safety. The good part, when it comes to shipping, is that if at all you are moving to a place where the standard of living is already high and you do not want it to weigh heavily on your pockets by selling the car and buying a new one, then a logical and practical thing to do is to ship the car. This way, you would be relieved of monetary as well as mental stress. That is all there is about cost to ship a car! There is some more nitty-gritty to this, but then if at all I give you those, what will the shipping companies do?

This is where I sign off!
